End Of Ember Is Going To Hell And Back

Bad Plan, a three-person studio from South Australia, are currently working on End of Ember, which they describe as “a violent, gory, hilarious rogue-lite in which a young girl goes to Hell to stick a boot up Satan’s butt”.

First announced in 2024, the game has made appearances at events like AVCON and SAGE. A twin-stick shooter, it will feature “hordes” of enemies and…a bespoke gore engine.

The studio is a member of our Adelaide Game Plus space. “Game Plus is an ideal workspace for small indie gamedev teams due to its affordability, facilities, and flexible options”, Bad Plans’ Chad Hebel says. “Even better, the sense of community allows for mutual support, great conversations, and potential collaborations that are so important in the early life cycle of devs and freelancers.”
